98 g milk, water, or juice
605 g powdered sugar, sifted
108 g or 5 T and 1 t light corn syrup
1 t white food coloring, optional
Add ingredients to stand mixer.
Mix on medium speed until smooth.
Turn mixer to lowest speed and mix 5 mins to reduce air bubbles.
Well mixed glaze icing dries shinier.
Yields over 2 C glaze icing, enough to flood about 20 cookies.

Glaze icing is used to flood cookies with royal icing dam.
Glaze icing requires much less color than royal icing.
Glaze icing is too thin for piping bags; use plastic bottles.
Glaze icing dries softer than royal icing but firm enough to touch.
