Digestive Biscuits

167 g whole wheat flour
33 g wheat germ
75 g sugar
1 t baking powder
1 t salt
1/2 C butter
1/4 C milk

Preheat oven to 350°.
In a food processor, combine flour, germ, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Pulse in butter.
Add only enough milk so that a damp crumbly dough forms.
Gently knead, flour, and roll to 1/4".
Cut to 2 or 2 1/2" diameter.
Prick cookies with a fork.
Rotating once, bake 15-18 mins or until golden.

*For maple digestives,
omit sugar and replace 1/4 C milk with 1/2 C maple syrup.
