110 g or 1/2 C brown sugar
100 g or 1/2 C sugar
141 g or 1 1/8 C AP flour
1/2 t baking soda
1/4 t salt
1 egg
1 t vanilla
170 g or 1 C chocolate chips
2 oz or 1/2 C chopped walnuts (optional)
Melt butter.
Melt butter.
While it's hot, stir in both sugars.
Separately, mix together flour, soda, and salt.
Separately, beat egg and vanilla together with a fork.
Stir egg and vanilla into butter and sugar.
Stir wet ingredients into dry.
Stir wet ingredients into dry.
Fold in chocolate chips and walnuts.
Place in refrigerator at least an hour.
Preheat oven to 375.
Roll dough into balls and bake 9-11 mins.
Let cool.
