Red Velvet Skull Bites

95 g cake flour
5 g Dutch-process cocoa powder
1/4 t baking soda
1/8 t salt
2 T butter, room temp
100 g sugar
1/4 C oil
1 egg
1 t vanilla
1/4 t vinegar
1/4 C buttermilk, room temp
red food color

Preheat oven to 425.
Generously spray cake bite pan with oil.
Whisk together flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt.
In a stand mixer, beat butter and sugar on medium high for 1 min.
Drizzle in oil slowly, and beat on high for 2 mins.
Add egg, vanilla, and vinegar, and beat on high for 2 mins.
With a silicone spatula, fold in dry ingredients and buttermilk.
Add enough food coloring to dye batter red.
Pour into piping bag with batter tip.
Pipe into 20 skull bites.
Bake 6-7 mins or until barely dry.
Remove from oven and let sit 10 mins.
Flip onto a parchment papered cutting board.
Trim excess with sharp knife.
Let cool completely.
