225 g flour
50 g cocoa powder
1 T baking powder
1 t salt
8 oz dark chocolate, roughly chopped
240 g superfine sugar
220 g brown sugar
1 t instant coffee
1 1/2 C milk
3 eggs
1 T vanilla
Preheat oven to 320.
Prepare an 8" round cake pan (3" tall).
Sift together flour, cocoa, powder, and salt.
Separately, heat together butter and chocolate.
Add sugars and coffee.
Add milk, eggs, and vanilla.
Add dry ingredients.
Pour into a prepared tin and bake 80-90 mins.
Pairs well with chocolate ganache.
