Apple Brown Betties

1/2 - 3/4 C buttermilk
2 T melted butter
1 egg, room temp
63 g white flour
60 g whole wheat flour
1/2 t baking soda
1 T sugar
1/2 t salt
1 granny smith apple, diced

Whisk together milk, butter, and egg.
Sift dry ingredients.
Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and stir just until lumpy.
Fold in apples and cook on greased griddle.
